ABOUT US
Based in the Greater Boston area, VINTAGE STRING is a live music performance group co-founded by Vanessa Fitzgerald and Diane Hastings. Passionate performers and classically trained musicians, Diane and Vanessa have active freelance careers ranging from local pubs and symphony halls to the national touring stage. The VINTAGE STRING team includes a close network of outstanding and highly trained musicians who are passionate about making unforgettable musical moments in every performance.

For WEDDINGS and special events, we strive to ensure that every event is customized perfectly for each client and their unique vision. We work with each client to help curate a perfect setlist. We offer ensembles for every budget- solo, duo, trio, and quartets, and our Signature Ensembles featuring our one-of-kind Signature medleys. Our ensembles feature violin, viola, cello, guitar. Percussion can be added to any ensemble to bring an elegant ceremony into a lively cocktail hour party.
OUR SIGNATURE MEDLEYS
VINTAGE STRING celebrates genres that aren’t typically associated with strings through original arrangements and medleys of iconic songs by artists like Beyoncé, TLC, and Outkast. Our dynamic original medleys combine 3-5 beloved songs into one seamless arrangement and are performed only by our Signature Trio. Check out the list of our SIGNATURE MEDLEYS to learn more. Our interactive, engaging performances of our VINTAGE STRING signature medleys can include drums and amplification or remain acoustic with strings only. These performances are perfect for bars, restaurants, cocktail hours, wedding dinners, and parties.
